Look at the pictures representing Tituba and answer the following questions.

1. Pair work. Write a short description of one of the picture. Then, exchange with a classmate who did the other picture and compare:

  • What do the pictures have in common?
  • What is different about these two portraits?

2. Witch or victim? How can you explain the evolution of the representation of Tituba?
